Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester is an American actress, model and singer, songwriter and actor from the United States. Her most well-known role is her role as 'Blair Waldorf' in the drama television series "Gossip Girl." Leighton Meester began her career acting in the entertainment industry when she was a young girl. During her childhood she performed in the local stage production of "Wizard of OZ," following which her interest in acting was heightened. She began working by modelling and appearing in commercials. The brands she has worked with include including Ralph Lauren and 'Herbal Essences' 'Vera Wang", 'Jimmy Choo', and 'Vera Wang'. Even though she began her modelling career as a model she later branched out into acting. Her debut as an actor came with the series 'Law & Order'. Later, she picked on cameos in TV movies and series like "Country Strong," "Monte Carlo,' and the 'Killer Movie.' Apart from acting, she's also written music for Robin Thicke of 'Cobra Starship. She's written numerous songs and recorded tracks together. The Billboard magazine has featured her tracks as "Top Songs of the Year." Leighton Meester also performed on Broadway in the Broadway production "Of Mice and Men."
